
Australian born Bronwen Coleman (Writer/Actor)
came to New York to complete her MFA at the Actors Studio
Drama School, where she was the recipient of the Liberace Award for
Artistic Excellence in her second and third years. In Australia, Bronwen
attended one of the country's premier film schools, the Victorian
College of the Arts, where she wrote, produced and directed a number
of short films (including "Persephone's Dream, screened at festivals
internationally) and wrote the feature Ludlow, currently in development.
Since finishing her MFA, Bronwen has worked in film and theatre in
New York, and recently returned from performing in the world premier
of playwright Sarah Doyle's Forest Blue in Sydney, Australia. In June
2005, Bronwen performed her play Mrs. Barry's Marriage
in terraNOVA Collective's ONE
Solo Arts Festival. She is a life member of the Actor's Studio.
