DONNETTA LAVINIA GRAYS
Donnetta Lavinia Grays is an actor, writer and director who served as Artistic Director of Coyote REP Theatre Company. Her play The B Factor received readings in the Women of Color Arts and Film Festival and TOSOS Theater Company’s Robert Chesley/Jane Chambers Playwrights Project. Her plays the cowboy is dying and The New Normal received productions with Coyote REP. She has presented work at Pride Goes East, St. John the Divine and Drunken Careening Writers. Other works include The Review or How to Eat Your Opposition, Church, Absence of Faith, and a short novel Peaches with King. Notable acting credits: Broadway (Well and In the Next Room or the Vibrator Play) Ars Nova, Primary Stages, New York Stage and Film and as a Civilians Associate Artist. LYNN ROSEN

ANDREW ROSENDORF
Andrew Rosendorf's plays include Cane (Florida Stage), Brilliant Corners (NNPN National Showcase of New Plays), Good Night & God Bless, or The Lone Ranger Rides Again, and The Kid. His play, Tranquil, will be part of the Lark’s 19th Annual Playwrights’ Week. His other work has been produced or developed at MCC, City Theatre, Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, Tofte Lake Center, and FringeNYC. Andrew is a current member of terraNOVA Collective's Groundbreakers Playwrights Group and an upcoming MacDowell Colony Fellow. He holds a BA in Theatre from the College of William and Mary and an MFA in Playwriting from The New School for Drama. |
JEN SILVERMAN
Jen Silverman studied at Brown University and the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. Crane Story premiered Off-Broadway in 2011 with The Playwrights Realm, and Akarui premiered at Cleveland Public Theatre in May 2012. She is an Affiliated Artist with New Georges, a member of Youngblood at EST, and has developed work with The Lark, NY Stage & Film, the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, hotINK (NYC), The Brick (Brooklyn), Leviathan Lab (NYC), and the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference. She received a 2011 commission from InterAct Theatre/the NNPN for The Dangerous House of Pretty Mbane, written during a 2012 residency at the MacDowell Colony. Jen has held residencies at Hedgebrook, New Harmony, and the Millay Colony (upcoming), and was a two-time finalist for the O’Neill. In 2011 she was a US Delegate for a China/America Writers Exchange in Beijing and Chicago. Her play Still won the 2012 Jane Chambers Award. |
SUSAN SOON HE STANTON
Susan Soon He Stanton is a playwright and screenwriter from Honolulu, Hawaii. Her plays include Takarazuka!!! (Clubbed Thumb production), Murdo (New Century Theatre Company workshop), Cygnus (Inkwell workshop), Furball (2G commission), and the things are against us (Yale’s Carlotta Festival). In 2009, Kumu Kahua produced two of her plays in rep, Whatever Happened to John Boy Kihano? and remounted their production of Art of Preservation. She was awarded the Hawai'i prize and the Pacific Rim Prize by Kumu Kahua. The Underneath, commissioned by Kumu Kahua, originated at the Yale Cabaret, and was workshopped at the Kennedy Center, Unicorn Theater, and Hedgebrook Playwrights Festival. Susan was Honolulu Theatre for Youth’s (HTY) resident playwright for their 2010-11 season. HTY commissioned her to write Navigator and Where Do Things Go? (multi-writer play). She received a feature-film development grant and best screenplay award from the Sloan Foundation. BFA: NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing. MFA: Yale School of Drama. She is a member of the Public Emerging Writers Group 2012-2013. SoHo Rep Writer-Director Lab 2011, MaYi Playwrights Lab, and the 2011 Lark Van Lier Fellow. |
ANNA ZIEGLER
Anna Ziegler has upcoming productions at Seattle Rep, The Magic Theatre and Synchronicity Theatre of her plays Photograph 51, Another Way Home and The Minotaur. Her play BFF premiered Off-Broadway (at the DR2), and is published in New Playwrights: The Best Plays of 2007. Photograph 51 has been produced at EST, Theater J and the English Theatre of Berlin, among others, and Dov and Ali by Playwrights Realm at The Cherry Lane, Theatre 503 (London), and the Chester Theater. Ziegler has been commissioned by The Manhattan Theatre Club, EST, Virginia Stage Company and New Georges, and her plays have been developed by The McCarter Theatre, The O’Neill Playwrights Conference, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, Arena Stage, The Sundance Theatre Lab, The Cape Cod Theatre Project and many others. She is the recipient of a Tribeca Film Institute/Sloan grant to adapt Photograph 51 into a film; Rachel Weisz is attached to star. |
