154 Christopher Street, New York, 10014. In a world where sex sells, this old virgin ain't buying. From Texas to New York City and beyond, Colleen O'Connor tells the true story of the most mythical creature: the 26 year old virgin. From being a homeless men-magnet to a string of less-than-desirable dating dregs, she transposes tales from her acclaimed blog Sexless In The Boroughs to the stage, facing her chronic virginity with humanity and humor, and giving voice to one of our generation's most taboo subjects. CREATIVE TEAM: Colleen O’Connor (Playwright and Performer) is originally from Dallas, Texas. In Dallas she taught and performed long form improv professionally, performing in festivals such as Out of Bounds, The Dirty South Comedy Festival, and The Gainesville Improv Festival. She moved to NYC to attend The Circle in the Square Acting School. Upon graduating she became a founding member of a theatre collective, FRESH PRODUCE’d. She has also been the voice of many animated creatures in both regional and national commercials. Recently she’s discovered a new love for teaching kiddos and is currently enrolled in a teaching artist residency at P.S.11. She wants to thank all her loved ones for their tremendous support in this process, especially her mom for being the best fan there is, Kyle for giving her the courage and inspiration to keep pushing through, and her dad, for teaching her not only how to survive but to truly thrive. LOVE!! Kyle Metzger (Director) is the Artistic Director of The Glass Eye and FRESH PRODUCE’d NYC. Current and recent projects include work at terraNOVA Collective, Culture Project’s Women Center Stage Festival, Tenement Street Workshop’s Snowballs Festival, Writopia at Theatre Row, Caps Lock Theatre, Perchance to Dream Theatre, Play on Words Productions, Truant Arts, Snorks and Pins, Ripple Effect Artists. www.glasseyenyc.wordpress.com Andrew Davies (Performer) is an actor, writer, musician, and educator working in New York City. Since 2011, The Bible Players have entertained over 100 synagogues in 16 states, teaching Jews of all ages and backgrounds to be a “mensch”, or good person. Check out the show at www.thebibleplayers.com. Andrew would like to thank Colleen, Kyle, Annie, and Dan for making this process more fun than sex. Dan Emino (Performer, Original Music) is a singer/songwriter who hails from Boston, MA. For the past few years, he’s been developing his sound on stages, bars, and street corners throughout Boston and New York. Being able to place his songwriting into a theatre setting has been a new and gratifying experience.
